Overview

Through the use of an Extended Property it is possible to auto allocate a listing on Big Commerce to the approprate category

Prerequisites

The configurator must contain the required category within the list of included categories

Quick Guide

• 1. Add required Categories to Configurator
• 2. Set Extended Property in Configurator
• 3. Add Extended Property on Inventory Item(s), value must be the Big Commerce Category ID
• 4. Add Extended Proprties for mutilpe categories if required

Detailed Guide

1. Add required Categories to Configurator

Configs -> Big Commerce Configurators Click the Categories Button for the required Configurator Add all required Categories by clicking the green '+' button (Fig 1.1) Click Save

2. Set Extended Property in Configurator

Configs -> Big Commerce Configurators Click the Categories Button for the required Configurator Select the required Extended Property from the drop down (Fig 2.1) If Extended Property is new and has not been added to Inventory Items it is possible to type in the name of the Extended Property Click Save

3. Add Extended Property to Linnworks Inventory Item

This can be achieved manually 'One-By-One' or in Bulk
Manually 'One-By-One' (Fig 3.1) Inventory Search for required Inventory Item Click on Item in SKU column to Edit Stock Item Details Click Extended Properties Click Add New Property Enter Name  Enter Value, ** The value must be the Big Commerce Category ID ** Leave Type as Attribute Click Save	Fig 3.1

4. Add Extended Property for multiple categories

    It is possible to list an inventory item to multiple categories by adding extra Extended Properties with the addition detailed below

• Original ExtendedPropety ~ BC ID
• 1st Additional Category required ~ BC ID_1
• 2nd Additional Category required ~ BC ID_2
