Checking In Transfer

Overview

The Checking In Transfer screen is used to enter the stock that has been received in the 'To' location. Received items can be scanned by barcode to make this process quick and easy.

After a transfer has been delivered, its required to set the received quantity on each transfer in order to change the stock level in Linnworks Inventory.

Barcode Mode

Similar to the barcode mode on Pack Transfer you can scan items that have been received into bins. Click on 'Barcode Mode' to change the current view to barcode mode.

To scan a received item:

  • Select the bin you are checking in Fig 1.1

  • Scan the item or type the barcode in the barcode text box on the top right hand corner above the table and press enter Fig 1.2

This action will add a quantity of 1 to the item inside the bin. Repeat this process for all items until all items received are scanned.

Alternatively, you can count the items received and edit the 'Received Qty' column on the main view for each item.
