Pack Transfer

Overview

The Pack Transfer screen is used to set the sent quantities and bins for items to be sent to the location. From here, you can create bins for transfer items, add bin notes and assign items to new bins.

Creating New Bins

To create a new bin which would be useful for identifying pallets, simply click and drag the item you want to move into the 'New Bin' rows on the table, this action will display the 'Quantity to move' dialog, where you will need to set the quantity to move to this new bin. Once set, a new bin will be created for the item with the quantity that was entered.Fig 1.1

The new bin's properties, which are Name, Reference, and Barcode can be edited by clicking on the 'Edit Bin' button on the bin row. You can also create bin notes for bins.Fig 1.2

Barcode Mode

Another way of creating bins and assigning items to bins would be to use the Barcode Mode, click on the 'Barcode Mode' to activate this mode. The interface will change to display the barcode mode.Fig 2.1

From here you can create new bins, view items in existing bins, and assign items to bins.

Select a bin (Or create a new bin) then scan the item you want to add to this bin, once scanned, a quantity of 1 will be added for the item scanned into the selected bin. Fig 2.2

Once completed, click on 'Save' to save the changes made in Barcode Mode.
